SSI Housing was established in 2012 to provide short- and long-term housing assistance to refugees, humanitarian entrants, and people seeking asylum in NSW.
SSI Housing has formed close relationships with private landlords, community housing providers and commercial operators to secure and sustain appropriate and affordable housing for all the people it supports.
With this experience and expertise, and already managing a private property portfolio, SSI has qualified as a Community Housing Provider, on the Register of Community Housing providers, to help in the provision of affordable accommodation options for vulnerable communities in Sydney.
SSI Housing is a division of Settlement Services International (SSI), a community-based not-for-profit organisation providing a range of services in the areas of refugee settlement, migrant support services, asylum seeker assistance, housing, multicultural foster care, disability support, employment services and youth support in NSW.
